About Morissa Pawl
Morissa Pawl is an accomplished professional in the travel industry, publishing, and field of education with over 20 years of business and instructional success.
Morissa is a proven leader in the hospitality industry. She began her career with American Airlines, which led to positions with travel management companies and travel agencies in London, England and in the Los Angeles area. She was employed by a few of the most prestigious travel companies before starting her own travel consulting firm, Global Expeditions, which thrived for over five years until the tragedy of 9/11 forced the doors to close. Since then she has owned Pawl Consulting and has provided services for travel agencies, technology providers, publishing houses, and Fortune 500 companies.
Additionally, Morissa remains committed to the field of education. She was a professor with Santa Monica College and Calig Travel School for more than 6 years, where she spent time instructing in business, hospitality, travel & tourism. She is currently a professor of International Business and Business Ethics for American Intercontinental University, International Economics for MIC, and Hospitality and Tourism for Excelsior College.
Morissa is dedicated to constantly furthering her own education. She received an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix in 2004, is ABD her Doctorate in Business Leadership at the University of South Africa and is completing a PhD in International Business at Northcentral University.
One of Morissa’s objectives is to bring ethics back to the business world. What sets her apart is her objective vision, ability to incite critical thinking, and the wit and enthusiasm with which she delivers the message.
Her years of experience and education bring authenticity to the subject matter as well as being a member of both the Society of Business Ethics (SBE) and Association of American University Professors (AAUP).
